This year marks the centenary of the end of WW1 which saw over a million service men and women lose their lives. The We Remember Them campaign, founded by Simon Wright and Deane Hitchens-Orr, was created to raise money for The Royal British Legion and Horseback UK who continue to support service men and women. Throughout 2018, people have been doing extraordinary things to raise money with the 100m x 100m Swim Relay Final, sponsored by Zoggs International, no exception.

The London City Swim, sponsored by Zoggs, takes place on September 21st at the Royal Victoria Dock in London. The aim of the swim is to bring together hundreds of swimmers who want to make a difference by raising money for Motor Neurone Disease. The London City Swim is a partner swim to the Amsterdam city swim. The purpose of both these swims is to raise money towards researching a cure for Motor Neurone Disease. The Swim is supported by (and supports) the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Stephen Hawking Foundation.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland focused on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND. They're a membership organisation with 9,000 members and over 7,000 active volunteers, and 170

We're proud to be the swim partner of the Aspire Swim Challenge again in 2018. Raising money for those affected by Spinal Cord Injury, anyone can join in with the challenge whether it's as an individual or part of a team. Every 8 hours someone is paralysed by a Spinal Cord Injury and there is currently no cure. Participating in the Aspire Channel Swim means you get to swim the distance of the English Channel and you get to make a difference.

The Open Water Swimathon is ideal for experienced open water swimmers and those looking to make that transition from the pool to the open water. Taking place on Saturday 8th to Sunday 9th September, you will have the opportunity to participate in an individual challenge (400m, 1.5k, 2.5k or 5k) or a team challenge of 2-5 people (1.5k, 5k). Training plans are available here. What's more you can fundraise for two incredible causes - Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie.

The annual Royal Lifesaving Society UK Drowning Prevention Week campaign, in partnership with the RNLI and Swim England, takes place between the 15th and 25th June 2018. At 10:59am 300 radio UK radio stations came together to broadcast a one minute message in a historic moment for Mental Health Awareness Week.
