Swimming With Men comes to cinemas this July

Faced with a mid-life crisis, accountant Eric (played by comedian and actor Rob Brydon) joins an all-male group of synchronised swimmers, who discover making patterns in a pool can, for a couple of hours at least, smooth out the bumps in his work and marriage. Directed by Oliver Parker, this feel-good summer movie stars Rupert Graves, Adeel Akhtar, Jim Carter, Thomas Turgoose, Daniel Mays and Charlotte Riley alongside Rob Brydon.

Swimming with Men is a comedy drama with Rob Brydon the excellent middle-aged man stumbling across a rather unusual way to deal with the issues in his marriage! His life seemed in order until he started to think his wife Heather (Jane Horrocks) is having an affair and he moves out of their home. Solace comes at the local swimming pool where Brydon's character Eric ends up joining a team of equally challenged men who form a synchronised swimming team. Against the odds, they end up training for the World Championships with Eric hoping his wife will be impressed with his new found skills.
