The Open Water Swimathon is back!

The Open Water Swimathon is ideal for experienced open water swimmers and those looking to make that transition from the pool to the open water. Taking place on Saturday 8th to Sunday 9th September, you will have the opportunity to participate in an individual challenge (400m, 1.5k, 2.5k or 5k) or a team challenge of 2-5 people (1.5k, 5k). Training plans are available here. What's more you can fundraise for two incredible causes - Cancer Research UK and Marie Curie.

You won't be getting in the open water along either. From the moment you sign up, you will receive updates and helpful tips from the Open Water Swimathon team guiding you in the lead up to the event. You will also find helpful tips on the Open Water Swimathon website like An introduction to open water swimming, Top Tips for the Open Water, Common Mistakes to Avoid and Key Open Water Skills to Master.
