Zoggs Joins #TeamBetter to Swim 31 Miles in 31 Pools for Sport Relief
Sport Relief is back, with thousands of Brits already signed up to swim, cycle, run or walk at fantastic events across the UK from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th March 2016 in the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Games. If you're thinking of getting involved then you can find an event near you here.
This year, our friends at GLL (Greenwich Leisure Limited) have put together a team of 13 of their staff and partners to swim an incredible 31 miles in 6 days across 31 of their swimming pools. The team includes two members of the Zoggs team who will be sure to share their journey with you. Claire Rowland (UK Retail Key Account Manager) and Ben Hornett (International Marketing Manager) will be swimming all 31 miles across the 31 pools as part of the GLL Better Team!
The tour will start in London on 25th February and the team will be travelling across the UK by plane, bus and tube to reach their 31 swimming locations. Their days will consist of swimming 4-6 miles each day with up to 8 hours of travelling daily between each of the 31 swimming pools - a whopping schedule of up to 12 hours per day! Nonetheless, the team are all kitted out with their Zoggs gear and raring to go!

On their first day the team will be covering 4 mile long swims across 4 London swimming pools before flying over to Belfast for their final plunge of the day. On day 2 they will be travelling from Belfast to Carlisle and will be greeted by their new home for the next 3 days - a tour bus! They will begin working their way down south to finish off the day with a late night swim in Manchester. On day 3 the team will continue their route down south towards Rugby, where the first of the day's 5 swims will take place. Day 4 the team will head south west for another 5 swims before making their way back towards london on day 5. On day 6 the GLL Better Team will be ending their tour back in London, with their final swim taking place in the iconic London Aquatics Centre.
