🙌YES🙌YES🙌YES ❤️❄️🏊‍♀️ Winter Swim Season is finally coming and I am SO SO SO HAPPY 😁 Over the weekend I kick started my training and swam in varying water temps from 18c (sea), 13.4c (pond) and 11.5c (river) – as a winter/ice swimmer I absolutely loving the lower temps again! I am really excited that we are definitely in the transition season from warm to cold water swimming and I get to swim again at my fave time of year - Winter! ❤️❄️🏊‍♀️and more fun times with swim buddies and winter swim challenges 😀🤗 Plus, I am taking some on new challenges, including practicing my freediving in preparation for my upcoming mermaid course and also planning to go and try Ice Freediving again! As well as my “still” goal to get faster 🙃 so pool training once (maybe twice) a week too! So it is deffo time for me to sort out my winter kit ready for the nippier water and training kit. That along with my changing robe, warm layers, bobble hat, hot water bottle, gloves/bobble hat, socks, flask and fave hot squash. I’m kicking off with sorting my fave zoggsuk kit ready: ❄️ Cossies – Pool and Winter Open Water ❄️ Swim Hat – Bright ones as I need to be seen in open water but also because I love pink, purple, blue, any coordinated colour to my cossie 😂 ❄️ Googles and Goggle Spray – I use both prescription and non prescription ❄️ Earplugs – for open water swimming and freediving ❄️ Nose clip – I use for freediving practice in pool ❄️ Gloves – for my freediving but great too if you find the cold water painful on your hands. ❄️ Pull buoy, Kick board, Paddles, Snorkel, Fins – Pool training/Freediving and bog snorkelling training! #ZoggsUK #Zoggs #Zoggsukamb
