The Zoggs Ecolast collection, an envionmentally friendly swimwear collection made from ocean waste

Ecolast Swimwear™

Beyond the Pool

Being Aussie means we pretty much love everything to do with the water. We believe the best way to fall in love with swimming is to make sure you have fun, whether you're a beachgoer, lane swimmer or open water adventurer.

Available in over 50 countries, our swimwear, goggles, swimming aids and training accessories are made to stand up to the Australian sun, sea and swimming pools. Because if they make the grade in Australia, we're pretty sure they'll do the same anywhere else in the world! You'll find our products for sale online, on the high street and in more sports and leisure centres than you can take a dip at!

Outside the lanes we're taking action. Our mission is to reduce our impact as a business on the environment. From greener packaging, to recycled swimwear and supporting various environmental causes, we believe in doing everything we can to preserve our oceans for the future.

“We're passionate about the ocean and excited about doing what we can to make a difference.”

Mark Hammersley, CEO Zoggs International.

Introducing Ecolast™ Swimwear

Our Ecolast™ fabric is eco-friendly and made from recycled waste recovered from the ocean so now you can feel good, look good AND do good. We know the best swimwear has to work as well at the beach as it does in the pool so you'll find Ecolast™ does exactly that with great designs and as little or as much support as you need. Not only that, Ecolast™ retains its colour and shape brilliantly so your confidence will be sky high whether you're heading from pool to paddleboard or spa to sun lounger.

Our Ecolast™ Swimwear is Made From...

Fact: Around 640,000 tonnes of fishing gear is left in the oceans each year, this remains in the marine ecosystem for hundreds of years.

A step by step guide of the process of turning ghost nets into eco-friendly swimwear

How Ecolast™ Swimwear is Made

1. Abandoned ghost nets and other nylon waste are recovered from the ocean and landfills.

2. The waste is cleaned of foreign materials and prepared for regeneration.

3. At the ECONYL® depolymerisation plant, the waste is regenerated into high quality ECONYL® Regenerated Nylon.

4. Finally, the ECONYL® yarn is used to produce Zoggs Ecolast™ swimwear.
