Born in Australia, the home of swimming, we've now been swimming around the world for 25 years! At Zoggs we have a passion for creating innovative, exciting and high quality products, which is why we're celebrating a fantastic 25 years of innovation.

So, where did it all begin..?

1992

Zoggs is born in Sydney, Australia. We become the first brand to offer UV protection and split-yoke straps as standard features on all goggles.

1993

We get the seal of approval with the adoption of brand icons – our seals! Little ones can still splash around with Zoggy and friends today!

1994

The launch of our classic Phantom Goggle – Zoggs is the lead brand in the world to launch the first patented and unique one-piece goggle. The Phantom design set a new precedent and revolutionised the swimming goggle market. Our Phantom goggle has been such a hit it still exists within our range today!

1995

Our Little Ripper Goggles are launched and go on to be a number one selling kids swimming goggle.

1996

U2 mirrored lenses introduced to our popular Phantom flexi-frame, a super stylish look for the mid-nineties.

1997

Another world first with the launch of our Saibo goggles, featuring a pearlescent soft frame for adding a splash of glitz and glamour to swims.

1998

The Hydro-Skinz Goggle premiers, revolutionary and a first of its kind in design.

1999

Another step forward in lens technology, we introduce CV (Clearer Vision) lenses, the first purpose specific range of vision enhancing lenses for improved clarity and brightness indoors while cutting glare and sunlight when swimming outdoors. Still available today, view our CV lens goggles here.

2000

Dawn of the millennium, a commemorative limited release gold goggle in recognition of ‘Our Dawn’ in the year of the Sydney games. Dawn Fraser, Olympic Gold Medallist 1956, 1960, 1964.

2001

Super-Seal™, the first 100% silicone flexi-fit frame is introduced.

2002

Little Ripper reaches 1.5 million units sold, becoming the number one children's swimming goggle in the UK and Australia.

2003

Zoggs become the first brand to offer goggles specifically designed for children up to 6 years-old with the introduction of our kids goggles!

2004

CLT™ Curved Lens Technology boldly takes vision to a new peripheral and sets new standards in goggle design, technology and pioneering design features. View our goggles featuring 180 degree peripheral vision here.

2005

The introduction of our Wiro-frame™ Bio-Integral design technology delivering the versatility of a one piece goggle with a new integrated Bio-Tech™ frame which offers enhanced individualised fit and comfort. This design is still available within our range of Predator goggles to this day!

2006

This year saw the introduction of our handy stages of development, designed to help parents know the best learn to swim aids for their child's ability so that little ones can embrace the joy of the water as they learn to swim.

2007

The revolutionary Wiro-Frame™ story continues with the introduction of the Predator Mask.

2008

Yet another first, with the launch of our hypo-allergenic Soft-Seal™ goggle seals.

2009

Swimshapes is launched, offering women’s swimwear to flatter, enhance and support. We also introduce PVC safe inflatables as standard.

2010

Our ever popular 4 Flexpoint™ Technology is launched in the form of Predator Flex, offering a superb customised fit. We take another leap in the open water market with the introduction of polarized lenses for exceptional clarity in bright conditions.

2011

Our unique Air Cushion seals are launched in adult goggles.

2012

New Easy Inflate Valve is introduced across our entire range of inflatables, offering 50% quicker inflation and deflation.

2013

Another world first, Zoggs introduce the first swimming goggle with photo chromatic lenses which react to changing light conditions! Perfect for both indoor and outdoor swims, becoming tinted in bright sunlight and clear in darker conditions so now you only need one goggle in your kit bag!

2014

Our 100% chlorine proof Aqualast fabric is introduced, becoming the first swimwear fabric in the world to offer a lifetime guarantee.

2015

We continue to develop our photo chromatic lenses with the introduction of a Titanium coating. Titanium provides added protection from reflected light and glare from the water's surface to reduce eye fatigue as well as reducing glare and softening the visual experience when swimming indoors.

2016

We introduced our first Tri Power Vision Goggles, offering liquid silicone gaskets, lightweight over-moulded frame and optical grade polycarbonate lenses.

2017

Next generation Predator Goggles launched with Ultra-Fit gaskets for a 15% lighter frame. Discover more here.
