Born in Australia, the home of swimming, Zoggs is now swimming all around the world.

At Zoggs we have a passion for creating innovative, exciting and high quality swimwear and swim equipment.

We want all swimmers, whether just starting out; swimming for fitness or recreation; swimming in the great outdoors or in a triathlon, to enjoy the freedom, fun and exhilaration of the water.

What matters to us is that swimmers enjoy life in the fun lane with unconditional trust in their Zoggs swimwear, goggles and equipment.

1992 – Zoggs is Born

Zoggs was founded in 1992 in Australia – the home of swimming. From the very beginning, the company was a pioneer: it offered UV protection as a standard feature on all goggles. This focus on safety and innovation laid the foundation for everything that followed.

In 1994, Zoggs launched the first one-piece goggle, the Phantom. Its single-piece construction increased stability and comfort – a major step for both leisure and performance swimmers.

2003–2005 – Kids’ Goggles and Predator Series

With the launch of the first kids’ specific goggles in 2003 and the introduction of the Predator Wiroframe Bio-Tech goggle in 2005, Zoggs expanded its audience. Specially designed goggles for children and the robust Predator series highlighted the brand’s commitment to fit and quality for all ages.

In 2010, Zoggs developed Soft-Seal™ gaskets made from hypoallergenic materials, followed in 2011 by the launch of the Air-Cushion range and Flex technologies. In 2012, easy-to-use Easy Inflate Valves for inflatables were introduced. These innovations focused on comfort and personalized fit.

With photochromatic Reactor lenses (2013), the Aqualast fabric lifetime guarantee (2013/14), and Titanium Reactor lenses (2015), Zoggs turned its focus to durable materials and high-performance lenses that adapt to different light conditions.

In 2019, Zoggs launched the recycled swimwear collections Ecolast™ and Ecolast+. These fabrics provide chlorine resistance and durability, underlining the brand’s commitment to sustainability.

2021 – Open Water Collection & EcoFeel

The 2021 Open Water swimwear range featured an internal silver lining designed to retain body heat up to 40% longer. At the same time, it was made from EcoFeel, one of Zoggs’ sustainable fabrics.

Since 2020, Zoggs has been part of the HEAD Group. The Predator range was relaunched in two sizes for an improved fit, followed in 2022 by new Tiger and Tiger LSR+ goggles. In 2024, a new neoprene wetsuit range will debut.

Swim With Your Eyes Open

Somebody once said, ”Swimming without goggles, is like running with your eyes closed.” We wished we had said it, as it is so true. When we came up with the name Zoggs back in 1992, it was because goggles were at the heart of everything we planned to do. Fast forward to today, and goggles remain at the core of our brand.
