The Copa Marnaton is one of the most recognised open water swimming circuits in Europe. Created with the aim of promoting open water swimming as an accessible and authentic experience, the project has become over the years a reference point for thousands of swimmers who want to experience the sea in a different way.
The name itself contains the essence of the event: mar, natación and marathon — three words that describe the philosophy of the project. The idea was born from the desire to share the open sea swimming experience with an ever-growing community, transforming simple local crossings into organised events capable of attracting participants from all over the world.
Today Marnaton is much more than a race.
It is a circuit that brings together sport, exploration and community, taking swimmers to discover some of the most spectacular coastlines of the Mediterranean. Each stage is designed to offer a complete experience: not only competition, but also travel, discovery of the territory and sharing the passion for open water.
