Zoggs named Swimwear Brand of the Year
Swimwear brand Zoggs has been named ‘Swimwear Brand of the Year’ at the inaugural Sports Trade Awards. Beating off competition from Speedo, Aqua Sphere, Adidas and Arena, the award is recognition from the sports trade that Zoggs are increasingly seen as the Swim brand of choice.
Zoggs UK General Manager Peter Doyle said, “We are truly honoured to be the first winners of this prestigious new award. Being named ‘Swimwear brand of the Year’ means so much to us because it is genuine recognition from our trade customers. I’d like to thank all of those who voted for us and congratulate the Zoggs team on the enormous progress we’ve made in developing the brand in both the UK and Ireland.”
The event took place on the evening of Sunday 7th July 2013 at the Four Pillars Hotel Gloucestershire and was sponsored by Sporting Goods Business Magazine (SGB), Sports Traders Alliance Group (STAG) and the Federation of Sports & Play Associations (FSPA). The award was accepted by James Hawkins, Zoggs Field Sales Manager.
