While buoyancy aids are a great way to build water confidence when children are starting or learning to swim, they're ideal for keeping them safe too. Children should of course always be supervised when they're in the water.
Our Deep Sea or Mermaid Flower Baby Wraps are suitable from 3 months up to 2 years. Designed to keep babies and toddlers warm in and around the pool, they have hook and loop fasteners so they're easy to put on. The wraps are made from thick, durable neoprene for warmth and comfort and ideal for wearing over swimming trunks or a nappy.
Our Water Wings Vests (see an example here) provide fixed buoyancy and encourage a natural swimming position. They get children from 2 to 4 years used to using their legs and arms in the water. With a neoprene body and super soft sleeves, foam floats are strategically sewn into the arms and shoulders to provide exceptional buoyancy and ease of movement. There's also a zip at the back and a tab to hold it in place so children can't remove it in the pool.
Our Water Wing Floatsuit (for ages 2 to 5) provides adjustable puncture proof buoyancy and encourages a natural swimming position to get children used to using their arms and legs in the water. With a neoprene body and super soft sleeves with foam floats strategically sewn into the arms and shoulders, the Floatsuit provides exceptional buoyancy and ease of movement.
The 3-in-1 Jet Pack is a kickboard and backfloat combined, offering additional buoyancy when the kickboard is inserted between the two yellow floats. As a backfloat, it gives buoyancy with a double action safety buckle holding it in place. When children are more confident in the water, the green kickboard can be removed from the centre to reduce the buoyancy.
Children can learn to swim with Wonder Woman (Batman and Superman also available). These armbands are designed for children aged 2-6 years and made from durable Vylux™ for safety. With dual air chambers and Easy Inflate™ valves for ease when inflating and deflating, the adjustable buoyancy means a child's confidence can grow as you reduce the level of buoyancy.
