News: Disney Launch Finding Dory Swim Sessions

On the 29th July the most anticipated Disney film of the year will be released… Finding Dory! To compliment the release of the film Disney have joined forces with Change4Life and the ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) to create a fun filled summer of activities to get families to 'Just Keep Moving'.

From the 22nd July to the 4th September Finding Dory inspired swim sessions will be available at 400+ pools across the UK. These session are designed for the whole family of any ability, ideal for the ages of 3-9 year olds. Based around Dory and her adventure friends, Fluke, Rudder and Hank, the ASA are creating a selection of activities based on their foundation swimming skills. Additionally to the swim sessions, Change4 Life have developed a range of 10 minute shake ups with several moves inspired by Dory and her friends. The fun begins on the 18th July. Find out more information and how to join in here.

 

 

If these aren't enough guess who's supporting the initiative… only British Diving champion Tom Daley and double Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington. Both are starring in a series of short films showing kids that not only can athletes take 10 minutes to have some fun, as well as encouraging people to get active in and out of the pool.
