Zoggs Swim Diaries: Day 3 of the Sport Relief #TeamBetter 31 Mile Swim Challenge

Day three saw our #TeamBetter swimmers smashing another huge set of swims today, with no less than five miles at five different pools under their belts. Joined by a mayor, the ASA, friends and colleagues, they battled their way through pain, exhaustion and their own state of mind, willed on by their supporters and the sense of comradery that has developed in these few short days.

With their enormous target of £12k so close they can almost reach out and touch it, the team have been spurred on through swim after swim, knowing that the money they raise is going to make a difference to vulnerable people both in the UK and overseas thanks to the amazing work of Sport Relief.

Their journey today started in Rugby at the Queen Diamond Jubilee Centre at 9am. A quick mile and a motivational visit from the mayor and they moved on to Parkside Pools, Cambridge for a lunch time dip. Mid afternoon saw them drop by Chiltern Pools for their third mile of the day, galloping off to Vale of White Horse Tennis Centre for a tea-time one mile dash. Their final swim of the day took place at Carterton Leisure Centre, West Ox at the relatively early time of 8pm, rather civilised in comparison to their midnight swim on day 2!
