Babies and children are particularly sensitive to the sun so protecting their skin when the temperatures rise really is essential. Here are our top tips to keeping children protected in the sunshine.

Babies are particularly at risk to the damaging effects of the sun. Up to 6 months, the recommendation is to keep them out of the sun completely. This is because their skin has little melanin which provides some natural protection. If you do need to go outside when it's hot, aim for before 10am or after 4pm, using a buggy with a sun protection cover.
