Zoggs - Sponsors Of The Swim Zone At The Triathlon Show 2012
We will once again be at this year’s Triathlon Show, taking place at Sandown Park in Esher from the 2nd to the 4th March. The popular annual show, now in its 10th year, features everything a triathlete could want to know, with over 150 exhibitors and great products, services and seminars on offer throughout the three days.
The Maldon Triathlon
The Maldon Triathlon will be held on 15th July 2012 in Maldon, Essex CM9 5JQ. The triathlon is based around the beautiful Promenade Park and Hythe Quay over the Sprint and Olympic distances. The event consists of a 750m / 1.5km river swim alongside the Promenade, 28km / 45km cycle on the quiet and scenic roads of the Dengie peninsula and finishes with a 5km / 10km run entirely based around Promenade Park.
The Fambridge Yacht Haven Half Ironman Triathlon
The Fambridge Yacht Haven Half Ironman Triathlon will take place on 29th July 2012 over the 1.9km swim, 90km cycle, 18km run distance. The event is based in North Fambridge, Essex CM3 6LR and is within easy travelling distance of London. 2011 saw a huge crowd of spectators gather and proved very popular amongst triathletes and the local community, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere with excellent support.
The WatersideTri
The WatersideTri will take place in Bradwell Waterside, Essex CM0 7RB on 12th August and for 2012 Dengie Events have a number of distance options for athletes. In addition to the Long Distance Classic (2.4km swim, 121km cycle, 30km run) there will also be a Middle Distance (1.6km swim, 82km cycle, 20km run) and Challenge Distance (800m swim, 43km cycle, 10km run) aswell as a Cyclosportive and Fun Ride.
Zoggs Get Set to Swim the Channel
Swimming the 22 miles of the English Channel is something many of us just dream about but Aspire make it happen by inspiring thousands of people each year to take part in a unique challenge to swim the full distance over a period of 12 weeks (September to December 2011) in their local pool. Now in its 13th year, the Swim has raised a massive £3 million for Aspire, a charity dedicated to supporting people with spinal cord injury. This year, with the support of Zoggs, it is hoped even more will be raised for this fantastic cause.
